Food for Mood Course

Free six week course funded by St Monica Trust

Fridays: 24 February – 31 March, 11am-1pm Greenway Centre, Doncaster Rd, Southmead, Bristol BS10 5PY

Do you feel anxious, lonely or less confident as a result of the Lockdowns and Covid Pandemic?

Feeling low, sad, fearful, anxious, panicky, tired, or lonely are all normal responses to what the world has experienced in the last two years. And now, even reconnecting with the outside world can be a scary thought.

The food you eat really does make a difference to how you feel. Find out how you can improve your mood and boost your general wellbeing with balanced nutrition.

If you’re anxious or overwhelmed, if your mood is low or you feel lonely why not join our FREE 6-week course with food and wellbeing expert Claire Cohen in February 2023.

In a friendly group setting you’ll learn:

  • how food supports your mental wellbeing

  • what to eat to boost your mood

  • how to cook easy & affordable meals

  • how to make positive changes that stick

You’ll leave with new skills, new connections and feeling much more like you!

About the Course It’s for the over 55s and completely FREE! NCIM has been funded by St Monica Trust to offer a series of wellbeing short courses across Bristol in person and online for people whose confidence has been knocked because of lockdowns and their sense of wellbeing affected by COVID-19. This course is for up to 15 people and will be delivered in a friendly, COVID-safe and supportive face to face environment over six weeks (two hours per week). You need to book! It’s not a ‘drop-in’ course – we hope that you’ll come each week for continuity and community.
